There’s no better way to celebrate America’s birthday than with boats, fireworks, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue. Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk are bringing back the ultimate waterfront celebration this Friday, July 4th, 2025, and you’re invited to be part of the magic!
This year’s July 4th Boat Parade promises even more thrills with a patriotic twist. Featuring a “Salute to Service” theme, the event will honor our nation’s military and first responders in a spectacular display of decorated vessels, water ski shows, a blessing of the fleet, and a grand finale fireworks display.
Whether you’re boating in the parade or soaking in the show from shore, this is one Tampa tradition you won’t want to miss.
A Salute to Service: Honoring Heroes on Tampa Bay
The theme for 2025 is “Salute to Service”, a heartfelt tribute to those who serve and protect. Boaters are encouraged to deck out their vessels in patriotic flair—think stars, stripes, flags, and lots of lights.
Registered boats will cruise the familiar Riverwalk route, stopping at designated stations for a blessing of the fleet and thrilling spectators with two water ski shows. Judges will award prizes for the Most Patriotic Boat, and every registered captain will receive a prize bag to mark the occasion.
Spectators attend for free, but VIP viewing tickets are available for those who want a front-row seat to the action, complete with food, drinks, and unmatched views.

Boater registration is now open, with early bird pricing available through the official registration page. You must register to participate in the parade and gain access to the Captain’s Party at Jackson’s Bistro, complete with food, drinks, and networking opportunities for boaters.
