Join Us for the 4th Street North Mangrove Cleanup – Saturday, September 21st

It’s that time of year again for the St. Petersburg Mangrove Cleanup! Keep Pinellas Beautiful, in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy, is hosting the 2024 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). Events will take place across Pinellas County from September 1st to October 31st, uniting volunteers to clean up our coasts, document the trash they collect, and make a real difference.

Battle For The Bay – September 21st

On Saturday, September 21st, join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and Phade for the Battle For The Bay against Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful! Volunteers of all ages are invited to help clean the shoreline and mangroves along 4th Street North in St. Petersburg. Let’s come together and see who can make the biggest environmental impact!

St. Petersburg Mangrove Cleanup Event Details

Where to Meet:
4th Street North Fishing Bridge, St. Petersburg. Look for signs, tables, and a tent.

St. Petersburg Mangrove Cleanup Schedule:

  • 8:45 AM: Cleanup Check-In
  • 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: 4th Street North Cleanup
  • 12:00 PM: Affiliate Winner Announced @ The Getaway

What to Wear:
Closed-toe shoes are required. Please wear sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing.

What to Expect:
Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, so bring your reusable water bottle. Volunteers must sign a waiver upon arrival. Note that there are no public restrooms on site.

Parking:
Free parking is available along the shoreline and grass.
