SRQ Inshore Grand Slam – Sarasota

May 11-12th 2024
Warriors on the Water, presents the second SRQ Inshore Grand Slam

• There will be mandatory captain’s meeting on May 10th 7pm at Hooters Sarasota

• LINES IN AT 7am on 5/11/24

• LINES IN OUT 9am on 5/12/24

Anglers permitted to fish overnight

Check in Station opens on 5/12/24 at 10am & closes at 12pm (must be checked in before 12pm for a fish to qualify)

Check In Station open on May 12th 2024 from 10am-12pm in Sarasota at Harts Landing

• All protests shall be made prior to 12pm May 12th, 2024.

This tournament is catch and release only

Entry Fees
Outboard Division- main entry fee- $250

Fly Division- main entry fee – $300

Kayak Division – main entry fee – $100

2023 Champions – Sarasota Roofing – Cade Bonnet – 1st place 290 points
Submitting Fish for Points
-Take photo with fish on top of the ruler, pinched tail method will be used to qualify for points, use close up and video whole fish and hold over end of the tail

-Include boat number in the photo and video

-Take continuous video of fish on ruler to record final measurement

-Submit post on Instagram and tag @srqinshoregrandslam

-Tally up your points and winners points will be verified at the check in at Harts landing from 10am-12pm on 5/12/24, you can also text your score to 941-225-3256

-4 target Species to qualify for points for the main prize – points awarded for – Snook – Trout – Redfish – Tarpon (refer to scoring page on rules for points)

-Highly encourage photographing all qualifying fish for points, closes ups and video of the fish from head to tail, hold over the tail for good measurement

– Winner will be determined by the highest score.

– Tarpon points will be awarded for releases only.

-For optional categories winner will be determined by longest slot, other than longest trout which will qualify for the longest overall.

-Final submission for points will end at 12pm on Sunday 5/12/24

-All division payouts will be kept separate

-If there is a tie in points, winner will be determined by greater overall length for qualifying fish or first to have checked in.

-If a fish measures .4 or less in will be rounded down to the nearest inch, if a fish is .5 or greater it will be rounded up to the nearest inch.

-Must Check in at Harts Landing 920 John Ringling Causeway, Sarasota, FL 34236 – by 12pm on 5/12/24 to qualify for points.
